Heather Quinn - Audience Member (10th May 2011)
"I was absolutely blown away the moment the music started playing in 'Hello Dolly' The fantastic production was conducted perfectly by the talented cast, along with superb music, singing and dancing! The costumes were beautiful and really brought the production to life as well as setting the scene of America in the early 1900's, along with the talents of the cast, and many laughs which followed throughout the evening. Thank you Solihull Theate Company!...Highly recommended - might go AGAIN! :-D "

Barbara Camelford - Audience Member
"Dolly was played brilliantly and Dan puts his heart and soul into every part he plays. Super choregraphy. The restaurant scene was amazing. All in all, excellent."

Debbie Hemming - Audience Member
"Great show everyone - some great individual performances backed up by a lively, smiley chorus.....and it sounded great too!"

Joyce Eyre - Audience Member (12th May 2011)
"Good morning everyone, I came to review Hello Dolly last night and thought you might like some motivational feedback as I know fatigue hits hard by Thursday (adrenaline is amazing). The audience thoroughly enjoyed the well cast production, with some perfect characterization, excellent solo numbers and a supportive chorus it couldn't fail to impress. Colourfull costumes and a well balanced orchestra completed the package. Well done everyone involved with STC and I hope you really enjoy your last two performances as I'm sure the audiences undoubtedly will. Thank you for inviting me, Joyce :)"

Martin Hughes - Audience Member (10th May 2011)
"I'm just back from seeing the opening night of Hello Dolly. Well done STC cast, crew and production team on putting on another fantastic production. I've come home smiling and feeling thoroughly entertained. I'm in on Saturday again, and I can't wait. All of the principal performances were excellent, and so were the chorus. The Waiters Gallop was an absolute hoot, I gather you got that scene sorted in just one of the Thursday Rehearsals? Amazing, it all seemed so natural!"

David Miles - Band Member
"Well done to you all. I have done Hello Dolly many times over the years & I must say it is a grand production. I'm going to see it again tomorrow and maybe Friday as the band is great too :) joking apart, great show and well done."

Emma Hackett - Audience Member (14th May 2011)
"Well done to everyone who took part in Hello Dolly! I turned up last night without a ticket, with the hope that there would be a spare! I only missed the first 5 mins. Well done again"

Clare Watson - Audience Member
"I enjoyed the show very much indeed! It was a magnificent performance, and the hours of work that must have been devoted to it richly paid off. Thank you to all involved - looking forward to your next one."

Gary & Trudie Peacock - Audience Member (14th May 2011)
"A fantastic show. I thought the entire team (including front of house / production / orchestra) were fantastic. Special mention of course must go to Mandy who was brilliant as Dolly, Dan as an excellent Cornelius who had us splitting our sides and Anya Layton as Ms. Malloy. I have already asked Mandy to pass along our best regards to you for your part. It was a really pleasurable evening with one exception, the seats were quite uncomfortable and I unfortunately needed to see Mandy to have my back "clicked" into place. Apart from that, it was a wonderful event, so please do keep us posted on future events."

Jekyll & Hyde

NODA Review by Joyce Eyre

I have to say that this was one of the best amateur
productions I have seen in a long time. STC have a
large and established talented cast and with the
addition of Laura Jayne Poyner (Lucy) who gave a
truly mesmerising performance, has lifted the
company from good to great. Ian Page, Terry
Wheddon, Amy Price, Dan Wainman, Helen Gibbs
and Adam Carver to name but a few were
supported by a fantastic chorus. I was so
disappointed that I was not able to get a
ticket to see it again! Fantastic.

Kathy & Phil - Audience Members (11th May 2010)
"We were overwhelmed with the whole show everything about it! Ian Page
deserves an oscar for his performance and I was particularly impressed with
Laura Poyner who played Lucy and Amy Price's lovely voice who played Emma.
There were others too, of course, the "Tarts". I was so emotionally drained at the end I felt I had run a marathon. So - Congratulations all round to STC for the best production we've seen on the circuit in years - accolades all round. If we had a night free I would see it again."

Robert Houghton - Audience Member (15th May 2010)
"What a brilliant show. Saw it last night, and i have to say it was easily the best amateur production I've seen in years (and I've seen a LOT of amatuer shows and been in a lot myself). Congratulations to all the cast."

Glynis Smith - Audience Member (13th May 2010)
"I should like to take this opportunity to thank you all for a WONDERFUL night's entertainment tonight. You all worked so hard on what is a very difficult score. The staging was great, the costumes were great, in fact you were ALL great. Give yourselves a round of applause. "

Gill Masters - Audience Member (15th May 2010)
"A brilliant performance from everyone, but must make special mention of the
lovely 'Lucy' outstanding! I felt as though I was watching a West End show."

Shaun Coney - Audience Member (13th May 2010)
"Brilliant Show. Well done for putting on an entertaining musical which never
got the relaease it deserved."

Gemma L M Parton - Audience Member (15th May 2010)
"Well done all involved in the show it was wonderful. Really gave me the itch to get back into theatre. Thanks for a great night out."

Martin Corbishley - Audience Member (13th May 2010)
